Zabaykalsky Krai Food Prices Mixed: Cucumbers Up, Cabbage Down
Zabaykalsky Krai residents have seen a mixed bag of price changes in their local grocery market this week. The regional branch of the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) reports both increases and decreases in various grocery items.
Leading the price hikes are fresh cucumbers, up by 6.2%, closely followed by chicken eggs at 2.7% and meat canned goods for baby food at 3%. Onions also saw a slight increase of 1.2%. However, it's not all bad news for consumers. Fresh white cabbage and apples have seen price drops, with cabbage down by 3.3% and apples by 2.3%. Potatoes have experienced the most significant decrease, falling by 8.9%. Cottage cheese has also seen a small increase, up by 1.1%.
Overall, while some grocery prices have risen, others have decreased, leading to a varied picture in Zabaykalsky Krai's grocery market. Consumers are advised to keep an eye on these fluctuations to make informed purchasing decisions.
