Xatoms Secures $3M in Pre-Seed Funding for Water Purification Tech

On June 19, 2025, Xatoms, a clean tech startup specialising in water purification, announced a successful pre-seed funding round totalling $3 million. The round was led by Quantacet, with participation from several prominent investors.

The funding round saw contributions from Genesis Ventures, BDC's Excelles lab, Ian Ferguson of BROMAC Capital, BoxOne Ventures, The Quantum Insider founders, Viral Nation, and angel investors. Following the round, the main shareholders of Xatoms are the founders, Alpha Ventures, and Maria Schultz.

The legal team at Hoskin & Harcourt S.E.N.C.R.L./s.r.l., including Christian Jacques, Michelle Orr Gaucher, and Madison Kerr, advised Xatoms throughout the process.

Xatoms, with its innovative water purification technology, has secured significant funding to drive its mission. The company aims to make contaminated water drinkable, addressing a critical global issue.
