Sitting pretty at the top of Poland's rich list is billionaire investor, Michał Sołowow. According to "Forbes", his fortune is estimated to be a whopping 13.4 billion USD, making him the 178th richest person globally.
Sołowow is not just a wealthy man but an influential figure in both Poland's economy and politics. With a passion for business and rally driving, he's carved a name for himself in multiple spheres.
Born in Kielce, Poland in 1962, Sołowow attended high school there and later studied at the Kielce University of Technology. He kickstarted his career in the late 1980s by founding the construction company Mitex, which he later sold to French conglomerate Eiffage in 2002.
