Warner Music Group Appoints Lo Ting-Fai as President, Warner Music APAC
Warner Music Group (WMG) has announced the appointment of Lo Ting-Fai, also known as Lofai, as the President of Warner Music APAC. Effective August 11, 2025, he will be based in Hong Kong and report directly to Robert Kyncl, CEO of WMG.
Lofai brings a diverse background to his new role, having held leadership positions in the telecom and entertainment industries. Prior to joining WMG, he served as CEO of MakerVille, a PCCW subsidiary focused on content creation, artist management, and live events. He also held the position of COO at Viu, PCCW's regional streaming platform.
Lofai's career began in radio and advertising, and he also served as Apple's creative director for Asia Pacific before moving to PCCW in 2010. He has written hit songs under the pseudonym "Yu Ri," and worked for advertising agencies such as Wieden+Kennedy and CTWCM.
In his new role, Lofai will oversee many of WMG's highest priority markets. He aims to help more Asian artists reach the global stage, strengthen WMG’s extensive catalog, and innovate ways to build passionate and loyal fanbases. He will focus on finding and developing artists with massive creative and commercial impact, as committed by Robert Kyncl.
