Veritas Legal announces Rustam Mulla as their new Senior Partner, coming from DDCM.
Rustam Mulla, a seasoned lawyer with over three decades of experience, has joined Veritas Legal as a Senior Partner. Mulla's extensive legal expertise and strong leadership will bolster the firm's real estate, dispute resolution, and general corporate practice.
Mulla's legal career began in 1997 when he started as a Solicitor Associate at Mulla & Mulla & Craigie Blunt & Caroe. He later became a Partner at the same firm from 2001 to 2008. In 2008, Mulla co-founded and led Desai Desai Carrimjee & Mulla (DDCM) as the Managing Partner until his recent move to Veritas Legal.
Mulla's areas of expertise include Real Estate, General Corporate matters, high-stakes litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution. His impressive legal portfolio also includes serving as an accredited Independent Director with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and sitting on the boards of both listed and private limited companies. Since 2001, Mulla has also served as an Honorary Legal Advisor to the Jai Vakeel Foundation.
Mulla's collaboration with Veritas Legal is not a new venture, as he has previously worked with Abhijit Joshi on multiple matters.
