Prepare for Road Disruptions During National Day Parade 2025 Rehearsals in Singapore

Cruising through City Streets... Not This June!

Upcoming NDP 2025: Selected Road Closures Across Three Saturdays in June for Drills

With the National Day Parade 2025 rehearsals around the corner, expect some bumps in your usual travel itinerary! Between June 14th, 21st, and 28th, a handful of city roads will be off-limits to vehicles for the parade and related events.

Which Roads? When?

Here's a lowdown on the affected streets during specific dates:

  • June 14 (Combined Rehearsal 1): The city's main arteries are set to be affected, leaving you stewing in traffic troubles.
  • June 21 (Combined Rehearsal 2): Brace yourself for more road closures, creating more holdups in everyday commuting.
  • June 28 (National Education Show): Road closures will persist, so plan accordingly or risk getting stuck in a snarl-up.

Remember, only authorized vehicles and emergency services will be allowed passage during these road closures, with the assistance of police, auxiliary police, security officers, and SAF marshals managing traffic at the junctions.

So, Where Should I Go Instead?

Situation calls for quick thinking! You might want to take a detour via these routes:

  • For those heading to Suntec City or Marina Square:
  • From Bras Basah Road
  • To Suntec City or Marina Square
  • Use alternative routes via Bayfront Avenue or Rochor Road, leading to Temasek Boulevard.
  • For all others:
  • In general, avoid traveling on major roads around the rehearsal venues to avoid long delays.
  • If possible, utilize public transportation such as buses and trains to reach your destination.

Say Goodbye to Parking Woes

No room on the road means no room to park! Parking restrictions will be strictly enforced along affected roads, with vehicles found violating these rules facing towing. Keep your ride safe and park smart!

The forthcoming National Day Parade 2025 rehearsals may impact not only the transportation sector but also the industry and finance, as businesses and financial markets might experience disruptions due to the road closures in Singapore city streets from June 14th to 28th. Considering the potential detours and traffic diversions, it would be advisable for companies to schedule their operations accordingly to avoid any delays that might hamper their productivity. Additionally, commuters might need to adjust their travel plans by relying on public transportation such as buses and trains to avoid getting stuck in traffic.
