Uncredited 20th PM Kisan Installment: Steps to Take if Your Account Received No Rs 2000
The 20th installment of the PM-Kisan scheme, a financial support initiative for farmers across India, was released on August 2, 2025. Over 9.7 crore eligible farmers are set to receive Rs 20,500 crore in this round, with each farmer receiving Rs 2,000.
To receive the installment, farmers must complete mandatory e-KYC (electronic Know Your Customer verification), ensure their Aadhaar number is linked with their bank account, and update correct land records as per scheme requirements. These steps are essential to validate beneficiary identity and prevent fraud.
Farmers can verify their beneficiary status and e-KYC completion by visiting the official PM-Kisan portal (pmkisan.gov.in). Click on "Know Your Status" or “eKYC” and enter Aadhaar or registration details.
To check your PM-Kisan beneficiary status, follow these steps:
- Access the PM-Kisan portal by going to pmkisan.gov.in.
- Click on "Beneficiary Status" on the homepage.
- Click on "Get Data".
If your Rs 2,000 installment has been credited, you will see the information on the screen. However, if any of these details are missing or incorrect, your installment may get delayed or withheld. In such cases, farmers can call the Kisan Call Centre at 1800-180-1551 to find out the reason.
It's important for farmers to update their e-KYC, bank details, and land records to ensure smooth payment. The PM-Kisan scheme, launched in 2019, has already provided financial support worth Rs 3.69 lakh crore to farmers across 19 installments.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leading the event from Varanasi. Farmers who haven't received the installment in their accounts yet can use this method to verify if the details are correct and if the installment has been credited or is still pending.
