UGI Utilities Begins Manheim Borough Gas Main Replacement This Thursday
UGI Utilities is set to begin replacing the natural gas main in Manheim Borough, Pennsylvania, starting this Thursday. The project is expected to cause some disruption to residents and businesses in the affected areas.
The work will take place on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and may result in road closures, detours, and parking restrictions. The affected streets include North Grant Street, West Gramby Street, North Clay Street, and West Chestnut Street. Residents and businesses in these areas should expect some natural gas service interruptions during the project. UGI will need access to properties to inspect and relight equipment. After the new gas main is installed, there will be temporary restoration of the area, with final paving scheduled for a later date. Homeowners and businesses in the affected areas can contact UGI at 800-276-2722 or [email protected] to discuss converting to natural gas.
UGI Utilities, serving over 740,000 customers in Pennsylvania, including about 75,000 residential natural gas customers in Lancaster County, reminds residents and businesses in Manheim Borough to plan for potential disruptions and to stay informed about the progress of the project.
