U.S. company For-A America appoints Joe Paryzek as Director of Solutions Development
For-A America, a leading provider of software-defined broadcast workflows, has announced the appointment of Joe Paryzek as their new Director of Solutions Development. Paryzek, who joined the team on January 6, is based in Atlanta and brings a wealth of experience in engineering, customer service, and system design creation to the newly created post.
Paryzek most recently served as the co-owner of live video systems design firm Strata AVL. Prior to that, he worked as a product engineer at systems integration firm Diversified and in pre-sale technical support at Grass Valley. His extensive background in the media and entertainment technology sector will be instrumental in driving the development of For-A's IP-based, software-defined solutions.
For-A America's key focus lies in transforming broadcast workflows with software-defined video switching technology. Last year, they advanced the software-defined architecture in broadcasting through the introduction of the FOR-A MixBoard, a fully software-based video switcher powered by ClassX technology. The MixBoard offers unlimited layering capability and an intuitive interface for complex, multi-layered compositions. This product has earned multiple awards, including Best of Show at NAB 2025 and TVBEurope Best of Show at IBC 2024, with further feature enhancements showcased at IBC 2025.
In addition to the MixBoard, For-A America has also introduced HiRDS, STMPE ST 2210 resource-sharing software, significant updates to SOAR-A, and a software-based switcher. These technologies enable a flexible SDI-to-IP live production workflow.
Paryzek is eager to discuss For-A's recent solutions with broadcasters, live event producers, and systems integrators. His responsibilities include key account management and customer communications. He is excited to get feedback from end users on how For-A's technology can improve their operations and what new upgrades they'd like to see.
For-A America plans to heavily focus on several new IP-based and high-bandwidth SDI technologies this year. For-A America President and Chief Operating Officer Satoshi Kanemura stated that Paryzek will be a wonderful resource for their customers. Paryzek looks forward to using his experience in customer relations, system design creation, and product development at For-A America.
