Transportation authority endorses construction of novel Driver Education and Licensing Hub in Al Rowaiyah 3 region
**New RTA Driver Training and Licensing Centre Opens at Al Rowaiyah 3**
Dubai, United Arab Emirates - The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the launch of a new driver training and licensing centre at Al Rowaiyah 3 (Sector No. 5). This strategic addition to Dubai’s network of driver licensing services brings the total number of RTA driver licensing locations to 28.
The new centre, operated by First Driving Centre, offers a comprehensive range of services including traffic file opening, driver training, theoretical and practical testing, and the issuance of driving licenses for motorcycles and light vehicles (both manual and automatic transmissions). Plans are underway to extend services to cover heavy vehicles, buses, and mechanical equipment in the near future.
The facility features upgraded infrastructure, modern customer service areas, and improved on-site amenities. It is designed to meet modern standards and enhance service quality and accessibility for residents in the area and nearby communities.
The operational hours of the centre are as follows:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM - Friday: 7:00 AM to 12:30 PM and then 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM (two shifts) - Saturday: 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM - Sunday: Closed, except for scheduled practical training sessions if applicable.
