Traffic Alert: Wiesbadener Landstraße is currently closed, with the following detours in effect.
Starting from September 19th, there will be changes to the bus routes in Mainz-Amöneburg due to ongoing construction work on the main road. The affected bus lines include 6, 9, and 33, which are operated jointly by the Mainzer Verkehrsgesellschaft (Mainz Transport Company) and ESWE Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH (Wiesbaden).
In the direction of Wiesbaden, the regular route will apply for lines 6 and 33. However, in the direction of Mainz/Kostheim, there will be a temporary stop at "Mudra-Kaserne", approximately 100 meters before the Wiesbaden Straße intersection. Lines 6 and 33 will then travel via Biebricher Straße after the "Bahnhof Wiesbaden Ost" stop.
For line 9, in both directions, the route will be different from the previous one. The bus will travel via Biebricher Straße between the "Niederbergstraße" and "Ruthof" stops. All regular stops will be served on the detour route for line 9.
The renewal work on the main road is being carried out in four construction phases. The main road has been closed since September 2nd, and the changes to the bus routes are necessary to ensure smooth transportation during this period.
