Tomsk Oblast Launches 'Governor's Kitchen' to Promote Regional Cuisine
Tomsk Oblast is set to launch 'Governor's Kitchen', a distinctive gastronomic brand aimed at promoting regional cuisine. The brand's development, a collaborative effort between the local administration and Tomsk State University (TSU), seeks to create a unified kitchen identity for establishments offering traditional Tomsk dishes.
The 'Governor's Kitchen' brand, currently in development, will offer set menus or dishes in various Tomsk establishments. The dishes were developed through scientific research into Tomsk's culinary history, conducted in collaboration with TSU. A recent working meeting, held in the Oblast's administration, discussed the brand's progress and strategies for growth.
Attendees included representatives from the Department of Consumer Markets and local kitchenaid businesses. Department head Natalia Zabavnova presented opportunities offered by the 'ProEat in Russia!' program for Tomsk Oblast's gastronomic industry. The meeting also discussed upcoming events to expand markets and increase visibility, such as trade sessions, festivals, exhibitions, and online promotions. Chef Alexei Marachev from 'Kucheri' restaurant presented the first 'Governor's Kitchen' gastronomic set, marking a significant step in the brand's development.
The 'Governor's Kitchen' brand is poised to become a recognizable symbol of Tomsk Oblast's culinary heritage. With a unified brand identity and a commitment to promoting regional cuisine, the brand aims to enhance the visibility and appeal of Tomsk's gastronomic products both within the region and beyond.
