Tomsk Invests 122M Rubles in Major Communal Infrastructure Upgrade

Tomsk has announced a significant investment of 122 million rubles in communal infrastructure modernization. The project, led by 'Tomskvodokanal', will see improvements in water and gas networks across the city.

Key upgrades include the construction of water networks on six Stepanovka streets, spanning over 6.5 kilometers. Additionally, a two-kilometer section of the water main on Bolshaya Podgornaya Street will be reconstructed. 'Tomskvodokanal' will also build a two-kilometer water pipeline in the Solnechnoye microdistrict (Timiryazevskoye village).

At the screw station, technological and electrical equipment will be updated. Gas boilers will be installed at GNS and NCS-2 as part of an energy efficiency drive. Meanwhile, KNS No2 will see the replacement of pipelines, pumps, automation, electrical equipment, and air gas cleaning systems. A new building for the recycled water system, equipped with modern equipment and valves, will also be constructed.

In 2026, 'Tomskvodokanal' plans to allocate nearly 650 million rubles for these water supply and wastewater facility construction and reconstruction projects. The company is responsible for the construction and renovation work on water supply and sewage systems in Solnechnoye, Stepanovka, Podgornaya, and other locations. These investments aim to improve the city's communal infrastructure and ensure reliable water and gas services.
