Tipico Increases DFB Agreement to Include Sponsorship of 3rd League
Tipico Bolsters Ties with German Football Association, Becomes Official Partner of 3. Liga
Tipico has extended its partnership with the German Football Association (DFB) to span the 3. Liga, deepening its involvement in German professional football. This expansion takes effect on July 1, 2025, through the conclusion of the 2027/28 season. With these new terms, Tipico becomes a partner for all professional football competitions in Germany, having already associated with the Bundesliga, 2. Bundesliga, and both men's and women's DFB Cup competitions.
In the scope of this agreement, Tipico will secure central advertising rights across the 3. Liga teams. For the duration of the partnership, the brand will appear on the right sleeves of all participating teams' jerseys, alongside the league logo. Additionally, Tipico will capture stadium advertising visibility during televised matches and digital marketing rights.
The revenue generated from this deal will primarily be disbursed to the 20 clubs participating in the 3. Liga on an annual basis, offering significant financial support to the league.
Kajetan Strini-Brown, Tipico's Director of Marketing & Brand, expressed excitement about the new partnership, stating, "The 3.
