Tesla Expands Energy Storage Capabilities with New Megapack Factory in Texas

Meanwhile, the production of the 1,000th Megapack took place at Tesla's new factory in Shanghai, China. This milestone was reached just 5.5 months after mass production began at the Shanghai Megafactory, located in the Lingang New Area of Pudong. The newly built Megapack is destined for Europe.
Tesla's Megapacks are already being utilized in energy storage projects across the U.S., Australia, Europe, and China's largest grid-scale battery power plant. The rapid scale-up of Tesla's energy products business is highlighted by the production of the 1,000th Megapack in such a short period.
