Music producer Kasseem 'Swizz Beatz' Dean will remain a defendant in his case related to the 1MDB scandal. A federal judge ruled against his motion to dismiss, paving the way for the discovery phase. The plaintiffs, Angela Barkhouse and Toni Shukla, allege fraudulent conveyance and unjust enrichment totalling $7.3 million.
