Sun Group Launches VND38 Trillion Urban Projects in Quang Tri, Vietnam

Sun Group has initiated construction on three significant urban projects in Quang Tri, Vietnam, with a combined investment of over VND38 trillion ($1.44 billion). The investor remains unidentified in available search results.

Quang Tri, previously renowned for its military history, is now transforming into a vibrant hub for tourism and development. The province merged with Quang Binh in June 2023, forming the new Quang Tri province and bordering Ha Tinh province, Hue city, Laos, and the East Sea.

The projects, spanning a total of 780 hectares, include the Nhat Le coastal urban project, Dong Hoi mixed-use development, and Le Ky riverside project. The Nhat Le coastal project alone covers 276 hectares with an investment of over VND12.5 trillion ($474 million), featuring beachfront properties and luxury resorts. The Le Ky riverside project, spanning 291 hectares, costs VND13.9 trillion ($527 million) and includes high-end residential areas and entertainment facilities.

These projects are situated within the Phong Nha-Vung Chua-Nhat Le tourism triangle and will have direct links to major transportation routes, making them a significant boost to urban development, tourism, and services in Quang Tri.

The three urban projects, with a total investment of over VND38 trillion, are set to be the largest property development projects in Quang Tri's history. Despite the unidentified investor, these projects are expected to drive growth in tourism, renewable energy, and logistics services, solidifying Quang Tri's status as a bright spot in the central region.
