Hey there, folks! Attention, if you're a regular on Line 10 of the Paris Metro — it's gonna be a bit of a hassle for a week from May 5th to May 11th. The Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens (RATP) is upgrading track equipment at Porte d'Auteuil, plus replacing rails between Michel-Ange-Molitor and Boulogne-Jean Jaurès.
Regular travellers can hop on the shuttle buses provided by the RATP to make the journey between the line's western terminus and Duroc. Just remember, the travel time will be longer than usual. However, luckily for some, the Duroc, Vaneau, Sèvres-Babylone, and Austerlitz stations will still operate, allowing passengers seeking Austerlitz station access.
Is the new MF19 schedule coming for lines 15, 16, 17, and 18?
Line 10 adapts for MF19's arrival
According to the RATP, these renovation works pave the way for the debut of MF19 trains, which will bring "improved comfort, reliability, and safety". By the end of 2025, these top-notch trains will serve Line 10, followed by lines 3, 3bis, 7, 7bis, 8, 12, and 13. The MF19s will feature air conditioning, USB ports, and state-of-the-art visual information systems. Detailed information about the temporary line closure can be found on the RATP's website[RATP][1].
Fun fact: These MF19s are scheduled to arrive on several lines as part of the Paris Metro modernization, but they are yet to make it to lines 15, 16, 17, or 18. The reason? These lines do not currently exist within the Paris Metro network. Lines 15 through 18, along with extensions, are part of the Grand Paris Express project, a separate undertaking from the MF19 rollout[Grand Paris Express][2].

- The arrival of MF19 trains on Line 10 is expected to bring improvements in comfort, reliability, and safety, as part of the Paris Metro's modernization plan across various lines, including 3, 3bis, 7, 7bis, 8, 12, and 13.
- While the MF19 trains are scheduled to upgrade other lines, there is no updates regarding their arrival on lines 15, 16, 17, or 18, as these lines are part of the separate Grand Paris Express project and do not currently exist within the Paris Metro network.
