Stefano Rosso Named New CEO of Marni

OTB Group has announced a significant leadership change at Marni. Stefano Rosso will take over as CEO, succeeding Barbara Calò. This move aims to strengthen Marni's leadership and drive growth across the entire OTB Group.

Barbara Calò, who has been at the helm of Marni since 2021, will support Stefano Rosso during the transition. She joined Marni in 2016 and previously held roles at Giorgio Armani, Escada, and OTB-owned Jil Sander. Meanwhile, Stefano Rosso will retain his positions as chairman at Maison Margiela, board member at OTB Group, and CEO of OTB's Brave Virtual Xperience.

Marni has shown strong growth in fiscal 2023, with an 8.6% increase. The brand also signed a 20-year licensing agreement for beauty and fragrance products with Coty. OTB Group as a whole reported a 9.1% year-over-year increase in net sales for fiscal 2023, reaching €1.8 billion ($1.95 billion).

Stefano Rosso's appointment as CEO of Marni is expected to further boost the brand's growth and contribute to OTB Group's overall success. Barbara Calò's support during the transition will ensure a smooth handover.
