State Grid Completes Major Rural Power Grid Enhancement in Jishishan County
State Grid Linxia Power Supply Company has completed a significant rural power grid enhancement project in Jishishan County, Gansu, China. The final 12-meter electric pole was installed, marking the end of this key initiative that will provide stable electricity to residents and power industrial development.
The project, involving 907 individual projects across 17 townships and 134 administrative villages, directly benefits six demonstration projects. These include the quinoa processing park in Liuji Township, the cold chain in Dahejia Town, and the drying of Chinese medicinal materials in Shiyuan Town. Upon completion, it will form a more comprehensive power guarantee system in the county.
The company has been using 'daily scheduling and weekly consultation' to optimize the construction list and accelerate work. The first batch of 12 units is already in operation, with the second batch of 14 units set to be accepted soon. The new distribution transformer capacity is 800 kVA, and the new line is 2.2 kilometers. The project is expected to drive employment for more than 1,000 people.
The completion of this project is a significant step towards revitalizing local industrial resources and driving employment and income growth. It supports the long-term development of the local economy by providing powerful electricity for industrial development and stable, reliable electricity for residents.
