Solotech Appoints Stéphane Lefebvre as New President and CEO
Solotech, a Montreal-based company specialising in event technology solutions, has appointed Stéphane Lefebvre as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Lefebvre succeeds Martin Tremblay and brings a wealth of experience from his tenure at Cirque du Soleil and CAE.
Lefebvre's impressive career spans over two decades in executive roles at CAE and financial advisory positions at PwC. Before joining Cirque du Soleil, he held these positions, honing his skills in management and finance.
At Cirque du Soleil, Lefebvre steered the company through its post-pandemic relaunch and drove global expansion. His leadership and people-first approach have earned him praise from Pierre Boivin, Chairman of the Board, who believes Lefebvre is the ideal candidate to lead Solotech into its next growth phase.
Solotech, under Lefebvre's predecessor David Scharf, has expanded to over 1,500 employees and 20 locations worldwide. The company offers a wide range of solutions and services, including audio, video, lighting, rigging, soft goods, control, and collaboration technologies. Lefebvre, who previously served on Solotech's Board of Directors, is eager to collaborate with the leadership team to foster innovation and excellence for both clients and employees.
Stéphane Lefebvre's appointment as Solotech's new President and CEO marks a significant step in the company's growth trajectory. With his proven track record and strategic vision, Lefebvre is poised to guide Solotech through its next phase of development, building on the strong foundation laid by his predecessor.
