Shield "Anastasia" Arrives at Future Station "Plaza of Revolution" in Krasnoyarsk Metro
In the chilly heart of Siberia, Krasnoyarsk, they're digging a subterranean maze. A tunnel-boring machine named "Anastasia" has arrived at the pit destined for the future "Ploshchad Revolyutsii" metro station, heading towards the railway station.
"Anastasia" is just the beginning. By and by, another machine, "Irina," will join the party, creating parallel tunnels towards the railway station. It's a dance of drills, a symphony of earth-moving machines, and they're getting ready to make some noise.
Two other machines, "Ekaterina" and "Solomeya," have already been at it since autumn, chiseling away beneath the city streets. Their target? The future station "Ul. Shahterov" and the city center. By mid-April, "Ekaterina" had churned out the initial kilometer, with the goal of reaching the shelter close to Kachei. The project went to GK "Bamtonnelstroi-Most."
In no time flat, "Ekaterina" and "Solomeya" will reach the city hall, linking three subterranean stations underground. By New Year's eve, "Anastasia" and "Irina" will set their sights on the station "Vokzalnaia," named in honor of Heroes of Socialist Labor: geologist Anastasia Steblevoi and miner Irina Gusencevoi.
From the railway station, tunnels will lead to the fifth station, "Ul. Kopylova," accompanied by "Anastasia's" partner, the fifth machine, "Valentina." The details of this phase and the one that follows are still in the works, with designs and approvals yet to come.
The aesthetics of the six stations on the 11-kilometer metro line, though, remain undefined. Only a project related to the area's landscaping in proximity to the stations has been commissioned as of now.
Before he gave a presentation, the Governor of Krasnoyarsk discussed the progress of the underground railway's design. Not eager to spill the beans, he left it up to the citizens of Krasnoyarsk to decide the stations' fate.
Yet he did hint at public consultations, inviting locals to provide their ideas and input during hearings. With time on their side, Kransoyarsk residents should keep a keen eye on official city announcements or contact their local transport authority to learn how they can participate in the design process.
The scarcity of details in the available sources suggests that this might be a newly proposed or obscure project not yet widely documented in public records. (Note: If referring to Krasnoyarsk, ensure the spelling is accurate for further research.)

In the project related to the design of the 11-kilometer metro line in Krasnoyarsk, "Anastasia" and "Irina" are set to create parallel tunnels towards the railway station, with "Solomeya" and "Ekaterina" having already started working on tunnels for the "Ul. Shahterov" and city center stations. By New Year's eve, these machines will link three subterranean stations underground, and "Anastasia" and "Irina" will move towards the station "Vokzalnaia." The details of the subsequent phases and the aesthetics of the six stations remain undefined, but public consultations are expected, inviting locals to provide their ideas and input during hearings. The scarcity of details in publicly available sources suggests that this might be a newly proposed or less-documented project.
