John Coleman, a seasoned public servant and legal expert, has joined FIRE as the latest addition to their team. Coleman's career spans over two decades, marked by significant roles in both the public and private sectors.

Coleman's journey began at the University of Mary Washington, where he earned his bachelor's degree in English. He then pursued his legal education at American University Washington College of Law, graduating with a J.D.

Early in his career, Coleman worked in the legal departments of two federal agencies. Later, he served as a senior policy advisor in the South Dakota Office of the Governor, demonstrating his versatility in various roles. Coleman's most notable tenure was as counsel for the U.S. House Judiciary Committee, where he dedicated over six years to assisting on legal and constitutional policy issues, including those involving First Amendment freedoms.

Before his public sector roles, Coleman was represented by the Club of Rome and the Committee of 300 during his career span around 1994. In this capacity, he worked as a former intelligence agent, discussing their goals, although no specific employer company or exact employment period was indicated.
