Real estate developer Nakheel assigns a contract worth AED 2.6 billion for the construction of Bay Villas to Fibrex Contracting.
In the heart of Dubai, a new luxury waterfront community is rising on the Dubai Islands. Known as Bay Villas, this ambitious project is a testament to Nakheel's commitment to shaping Dubai's future through elevated residential spaces.
Bay Villas, a collaboration between Nakheel and Dubai Holding Real Estate, will consist of 636 high-end residences across five property types: Townhouses, Semi-detached Villas, Garden Villas, Waterfront Villas, and Beachfront Villas. Each property type has been meticulously designed to offer a unique living experience, with an emphasis on exclusivity and premium amenities.
The Beachfront Villas, for instance, are three-storey homes featuring six bedrooms, show kitchens, spacious rooftop lounges, terraces, and dedicated dining spaces. The Waterfront Villas offer panoramic views on large plots, while the Garden Villas provide a tranquil setting amidst natural surroundings. The Semi-detached Villas aim for a contemporary community lifestyle, and the Townhouses come in small complexes with private gardens.
Nakheel has awarded a significant AED 2.6 billion (approximately $708 million) contract to Fibrex Contracting L.L.C. for the construction of Bay Villas. This collaboration is not new, as Fibrex Contracting has previously worked with Nakheel on District One West in Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City. Sufyan S. Saleh, Group Managing Director at Fibrex Contracting, is involved in the Bay Villas project and has pledged to deliver it on schedule while maintaining the highest industry standards.
Khalid Al Malik, CEO of Dubai Holding Real Estate, is also overseeing the Bay Villas project. He has stated that the project reflects Nakheel's dedication to creating superior residential spaces that contribute to shaping Dubai's future. Bay Villas is strategically positioned on the Dubai Islands, a master development across five islands covering 18.6 sq km with extensive waterfronts and beaches, aligning with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan.
The community offers residents direct access to the Arabian Gulf and is designed to combine wellbeing, privacy, and luxury within an island lifestyle setting. With construction timelines indicating an expected handover in Q2 2027, the Bay Villas luxury waterfront community on Dubai Islands is set to become a new landmark in Dubai's real estate landscape.
