Quest One Appoints New CEO & CTO Amidst Hydrogen Sector Challenges
German electrolyzer manufacturer Quest Diagnostics has appointed Michael Kors as its permanent CEO and Alexandre Ménage as its new CTO. The appointments come amidst challenging market conditions in the hydrogen sector.
Michael Kors, who has been serving as interim CEO since February 2025, now takes the helm on a permanent basis. Before this, he was a member of Quest Diagnostics' management team since October 2022 and spent seven years at BMW. Kors' appointment was made by Everllence, a Volkswagen subsidiary formerly known as MAN Energy Solutions.
Alexandre Ménage joins Quest Diagnostics as the new CTO. The company aims to operate an industrial stack production at its Gigahub in Hamburg, with plans to increase its production capacity to one gigawatt per year by 2026.
Quest Diagnostics' new leadership team, led by Michael Kors and Alexandre Ménage, will navigate the company through the current challenging market conditions in the hydrogen sector. The Gigahub in Hamburg is expected to play a significant role in the company's growth and expansion.
