Puma Boosts Sales with Adyen's Unified Commerce Platform

Puma has successfully implemented Adyen's unified commerce platform, leading to efficiency gains and improved customer experiences across six markets, including Singapore and Formula 1 races.

Puma previously struggled with managing multiple payment providers, facing issues with fraud, reconciliation delays, and inconsistent customer service. The company has now transitioned to a unified platform through a five-year partnership with Adyen.

The Adyen platform accommodates local payment preferences, allowing Puma to quickly activate regional methods like credit cards, e-wallets, or Buy Now, Pay Later options. This flexibility has been demonstrated in high-demand environments like Formula 1 events, managing large volumes of transactions efficiently. The platform also facilitates seamless customer experiences, such as purchasing online and returning in-store, or buying in-store and having goods shipped from other locations.

Ben Wong, general manager for Southeast Asia and Hong Kong at Adyen, praised the partnership, stating that it demonstrates how unified commerce can empower retailers to operate smarter, move faster, and adapt to changing market conditions.

With the successful implementation of Adyen's platform, Puma has streamlined its payment processes and improved customer experiences across multiple markets. The partnership has shown resilience in high-demand environments and has expanded to include Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand, the U.K., and other European markets. Puma joins notable companies like Spotify and Uber in leveraging Adyen's unified commerce platform for global standardization and improved customer service.
