Pipe rupture causes full obstruction of Bonnstraße

Bus Line 711 and 720 Detours
Both bus lines are being diverted in both directions due to the closure. Line 711 will take a detour via Sudetenstraße/Bonnstraße roundabout on trips from Hürth Mitte (ZOB) due to the closure of Hermülheimer Straße. Line 720, on the other hand, will resume its regular route from the "Komturring" stop towards Hürth Mitte (ZOB).
Passengers at the "Deutscher Ring" stop should detour to "De Bütt" on line 711 and to "De Bütt" or "Komturring" on line 720. Those at the "Kirchenzentrum" stop should use "Hürth Mitte (ZOB)" or "De Bütt" instead. Passengers at "Rathaus/Bürgerhaus" and "Ernst-Mach-Gymnasium" stops should use the regular "Hürth Mitte (ZOB)" stop.

Bonnstraße Closure and Alternative Route
There is a full closure of Bonnstraße between Ernst-Mach-Gymnasium and Villering due to a water pipe burst. The street will be open for traffic again around 10:00 AM after the barrier is removed on May 20, 2025. During the closure, access via Hohlweg remains possible.
Surface Works Completed and Retractable Bollards
The surface works on Bonnstraße have been completed. The retractable bollards in the affected area are permanently lowered to ensure passage, but no new information about these bollards was provided.
