Pineapple Financial Boosts INJ Holdings, Integrates Injective Infrastructure
Pineapple Financial, a leading digital asset management firm, has announced ambitious plans to bolster its holdings in Injective (INJ) tokens. The firm aims to stake its INJ holdings to generate yield and integrate Injective's decentralized infrastructure into its core operations.
Pineapple CEO Shubha Dasgupta has expressed confidence in the future of the INJ token, driving the company's decision to create a leading INJ treasury platform. Pineapple has already launched its $100 million Injective Digital Asset Treasury, with an initial purchase of 678,353 INJ tokens worth $8.9 million.
The integration of Injective's infrastructure into Pineapple's core business lines, including data management, loan servicing, settlement, and real-world asset tokenization, is set to enhance the firm's operations. Pineapple's move comes as Injective has witnessed substantial volume in real-world-asset perpetual-futures trading, with over $1 billion in recent weeks. Additionally, Injective has expanded its financial products, launching onchain pre-IPO perpetual markets for leveraged trading of synthetic shares of major private companies.
Pineapple's plans to become the single largest holder and staker of INJ tokens, coupled with its integration of Injective's infrastructure, signals a significant vote of confidence in the Injective ecosystem. This move also comes amidst growing institutional interest in Injective, with asset managers Rex Shares and Osprey Funds filing for a staked INJ exchange-traded fund.
