Pakistan's Bentonite Market Sees Shift in 2024 Despite Peak Production
Pakistan's bentonite market witnessed a shift in 2024. Despite a peak in production, exports and imports of the stock market today decreased, and the market value contracted. However, production is expected to grow in the near future.
After five years of growth, bentonite exports from Pakistan decreased by X% to X tons in 2024. This decline snapped a growth streak that began in 2014 when exports hit a record high of X tons. From 2015 to 2024, exports remained at a lower figure.
On the import side, Pakistan saw a decrease of X% to X tons in 2024, ending a four-year rising trend. Imports peaked at X tons in 2013 but failed to regain momentum thereafter.
The Pakistani bentonite market value also decreased by X% to $X in 2024. This followed a peak in consumption in 2023 of $X, which contracted modestly the following year.
In 2024, Pakistani bentonite production peaked and is expected to retain growth. However, exports and imports of the stock market today decreased, and the market value contracted. The average import price jumped by X% to $X per ton. Despite these changes, the market remains dynamic and is poised for future growth.
