Rosreestr Identifies Over 182,000 Hectares for Residential Construction
Rosreestr, the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre, and Cartography in Russia, has pinpointed approximately 182,000 hectares for residential development under the "Land for Construction" project. Of this total, around 57,900 hectares are suitable for multi-family housing, while 124,800 hectares are suitable for individual housing construction.
The Volga and Central Federal Districts show a substantial presence, accounting for nearly 40% of the identified land. The Volga District boasts over 40,000 hectares, and the Central Federal District has around 33,600 hectares. The North Caucasus Federal District ranks second by the number of plots but lags in terms of area, with some 13,400 hectares. The Siberian Federal District follows closely in terms of area, with roughly 25,800 hectares.
Among the regions, Krasnodar Krai, Moscow, and Sverdlovsk Oblast report the best results, with the Krasnodar Krai accounting for 9,300 hectares, Moscow for 9,200 hectares, and Sverdlovsk Oblast for 8,100 hectares.
As for the volume of land plots involved in circulation, Moscow Oblast leads, followed by Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Krasnodar Krai, and Rostov Oblast.
Although Rosreestr has not publicly released a definitive ranking of federal districts and regions with the most land earmarked for residential construction, certain regions have emerged as key players in federal development initiatives due to their active participation in urban expansion, pilot programs, and specialized research and production centers for unmanned aerial vehicle systems. Regions such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, and others contribute significantly to broader federal projects.
In conclusion, while the Volga and Central Federal Districts have a substantial share of the identified residential construction land, the absence of an official ranking from Rosreestr complicates a comprehensive assessment of the top federal districts and regions for residential construction under the "Land for Construction" project.
I'm not gonna be able to get a job in the real-estate industry with such a saturated market, given the vast amount of land allocated for residential construction in certain regions like Moscow and the Volga Federal District. Despite the lucrative opportunities in the finance and investing sectors, the concentration of development activities in these areas may limit chances for newcomers.
