Oberthal's Town Centre Fully Accessible Again After L 319 Repairs
After months of construction, the town centre of Oberthal is finally fully available to road users. The Landesbetrieb für Straßenbau (LfS) has completed repair works on the L 319, with the road set to reopen on April 26, 2025. The LfS thanks the citizens for their patience and understanding throughout the project.
The repair project, implemented in several phases since 2024 in collaboration with the municipality of Oberthal, has seen significant improvements. These include road surface repair, sidewalk renovation, drainage system optimisation, and line renewal. With the reopening, previously established detours will be lifted, allowing traffic to flow freely through the town centre once again.
Only minor remaining works are still required, which are not expected to cause significant disruption to traffic. The LfS wishes safe travels to all road users as they return to using the improved L 319.
For further information about the responsible officials or those in charge of the remaining works on the L 319 in Oberthal, it is recommended to contact the relevant authorities. This can be done by reaching out to the local street traffic department, the municipality of Oberthal, or by checking local news and press releases. The LfS has completed its major works, and the town centre of Oberthal is now fully available once more.
