North West Traffic Commissioner Unveils Enhanced Online Services for Local Bus Services and Operator Licensing

The Office of the Traffic Commissioner for the North West of England has updated its online services. Users can now access a wealth of information regarding local bus services and operator licensing. The new service allows users to find registered local bus services by operator name, licence number, or start and finish point. Additionally, vehicle operator licensing Notices and Proceedings can be checked by name, date, and area, including past notices and proceedings dating back to 2003 for the North West of England.

The service covers a broad region, including the counties of Cheshire, Cumbria, Derbyshire, and Lancashire. It also covers specific districts such as Blackburn with Darwen, Blackpool, Derby City, Halton, and Warrington. Furthermore, it encompasses the metropolitan boroughs of Greater Manchester and Merseyside. Related links provide access to Traffic Commissioner notices and proceedings, applications and decisions, public inquiries, and information on how to make roads safer.

However, the service currently does not provide specific information about the transport companies in northwestern England that submitted applications or opposed notices from January 1, 2025, to March 31, 2025.
