New sponsors revealed for London's Maritime event
London International Shipping Week 2021 (LISW25) has announced new sponsors from the maritime insurance sector, further strengthening its position as a premier event for the global shipping industry.
Among the esteemed sponsors are Thomas Miller, Miller Insurance, Tysers, NorthStandard, Steamship Mutual, and Britannia P&I, all of which have a track record of active participation in major maritime events such as LISW.
NorthStandard Limited, a prominent marine insurer offering a variety of products including P&I insurance, Hull & Machinery, War risks, and more, is a significant player in Maritime London activities and has often taken on support or sponsorship roles.
The addition of Cambiaso Risso Group, based in Italy, and The Swedish Club, headquartered in Gothenburg, to the list of sponsors demonstrates the international trust and engagement that London fosters within the maritime insurance sector. The Swedish Club, West P&I, Cambiaso Risso Group, and Beazley have been announced as the new silver and bronze sponsors for LISW25.
Lockton, NorthStandard, and UK P&I Club were previously announced as sponsors for LISW25, with Lockton now confirmed as a Marine Insurance Partner for the event.

The International Underwriting Association (IUA) will sponsor prizes for the M90 and M98 units as part of the Chartered Insurance Institute's (CII) annual prize giving ceremony. The UK P&I Club has also stepped forward as a sponsor, providing badges and lanyards for the LISW25 Headline Conference.
Tom Starr, a solicitor and Master Mariner, has joined the UK Club as a Senior Claims Executive and will be based in the Thomas Miller London offices. He joins the team from Reed Smith.
