Mystery Surrounds Cargo Ship THE FEDERICA's Owner as KYRIAKOULIS Strikes Lucrative First Charter
The owner of the cargo ship THE FEDERICA remains unknown, despite extensive searches. The vessel, which began its first watch on September 5, 2025, is expected to generate significant revenue for its charterer, KYRIAKOULIS.
The FEDERICA, a 37,000 DWT vessel built in 2012, commenced its charter under a minimum 50-day contract. The daily charter rate is USD 14,000, deemed attractive in today's market. Over the scheduled charter period, the company estimates gross revenues of more than USD 700,000 for KYRIAKOULIS.
Mr. Rigas Tzortzis, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KYRIAKOULIS, expressed satisfaction with the charter agreement. This marks a successful first charter for KYRIACOULIS MCS S.A, demonstrating the company's growing presence in the dry bulk sector.
Despite the mystery surrounding the ownership of the FEDERICA, its first charter has proven lucrative for KYRIAKOULIS. The vessel's attractive daily rate and the company's satisfaction with the agreement suggest a positive outlook for future charters.
