Sound the Alarm: Elon Musk's Starbase Takeover?

Is Elon Musk the proprietor of his own workforce? - Musk allegedly forcing out his own workers?
ELon Musk, fresh from clashing with the White House, now faces another storm brewing in Texas. Or rather, his company SpaceX based at Starbase is stirring up a fuss.
A Town of 500 (And Counting...)
This sparsely populated coastal town on the Gulf of Mexico, plays host to approximately 500 souls - half of whom work for Elon Musk's space company, and the other half, their kinfolk. Previously known as Boca Chica Village, it recently transformed into a "municipal corporation." Many locals have vigorously protested against the privatization of their once quaint town.
Musk's Palm on the Scales
Guiding the city's affairs, we find current and former SpaceX employees. The new municipal status allows SpaceX to construct, test, and launch colossal rockets with minimal legal limitations. In due course, the main street and beaches might be temporarily sealed off during rocket launches, for safety's sake.
Just a few days back, a Starship rocket met its untimely demise during a test flight, marking the third consecutive failure. Fortunately, no reports of injuries or damage to public property were recorded.
SpaceX, shaking off its government bond under President Trump, has garnered official space contracts worth an estimated $20 billion since 2008. Washington expects to keep doling out SpaceX billions for their rockets in the future.
Mars Here We Come!
Musk aims to loft his Starships not just for space exploration and moon travel, but all the way to Mars. Until the sci-fi dream becomes a reality, there are earthly tasks galore. A public hearing is slated for June 23, where residents and their employer will discuss the extent of the latter's rights restrictions.
