Mediaservice Wasmuth Takes Over ZIS & ZMG-Zeitungsatlas Management
Mediaservice Wasmuth has assumed control of managing critical print planning tools ZIS and ZMG-Zeitungsatlas, ensuring stability for media agencies and advertisement partners. Led by founder and CEO Matthias Wasmuth, the company plans to integrate the ZMG-Zeitungsatlas into its software regio.planbasix in the future.
The ZIS planning tool, a leading software for calculating print advertising, and the online booking portal OBS, the standard for online ad booking in Germany, will now be operated by Mediaservice Wasmuth. The company will also maintain the ZMG-Zeitungsatlas, which supplements ZIS with detailed maps of regional newspaper distribution areas.
Matthias Ditzen-Blanke, chairman of BDZV and supervisory board member of ZMG, lauded Mediaservice Wasmuth as the ideal partner for continuing these vital services. Starting January 2026, key products and tasks of the ZMG will be transitioned to Mediaservice Wasmuth, with the ZMG itself being discontinued.
With Mediaservice Wasmuth at the helm, users can anticipate planning security and continuity. The company will advance these central tools and prepare market data for IVW and agma studies. By integrating the ZMG-Zeitungsatlas into its software, Mediaservice Wasmuth aims to provide a comprehensive planning solution for the advertising industry.
