Marmota's Greenewood Project Yields Exceptional Gold Grades, Appoints New Project Manager
Marmota Limited has announced remarkable gold discoveries at its Greenewood project, part of the Golden Moon JV. The project, located in the Gawler Craton, has shown exceptional gold grades and significant potential for high-grade shoots. This news comes as Marmota appoints a new project manager and advances its Gawler Gold projects towards production.
The Greenewood project has delivered impressive results, including a 4m intersection grading at 43 g/t gold. Drilling has also revealed consistent gold grades across the deposit, with standout intersections up to 28m at 6.4 g/t gold. These high-grade discoveries suggest the potential for further rich gold zones within the broader mineralised system.
Marmota's strategic location in the Gawler Craton allows it to control every unmined gold deposit within a 10,000 km2 area along the Gawler Gold Belt. The company owns five of the six unmined deposits in the 'Arc of Six', a series of gold deposits along the flanks of a major gravity anomaly. This extensive control over the region's gold resources positions Marmota as a dominant player in the district.
To advance its projects, Marmota has appointed experienced mineral processing engineer Paul Richardson as Gawler Gold Project Manager. Richardson will oversee the progression of Marmota's Gawler Gold projects towards production.
Marmota's Greenewood project has demonstrated exceptional gold grades and significant potential for high-grade shoots, enhancing project economics. With strategic control over the Gawler Craton's gold resources and a new project manager, Marmota is well-positioned to advance its Gawler Gold projects and solidify its dominance in the Gawler Gold Belt.
