Marcus Chromik named as the new Head of Risk Management for our platform
Marcus Chromik, a highly respected risk manager with over two decades of experience in the banking sector, has been appointed as the Chief Risk Officer and Member of the Management Board for our website, effective May 20, 2025.
Chromik's impressive career in risk management began at Postbank in 2004, where he held positions in Risk and capital markets. He later joined Commerzbank in 2009, serving as the bank's Chief Risk Officer for eight years before stepping down in 2023 to pursue other interests.
During his tenure at Commerzbank, Chromik held senior management positions in risk management and was instrumental in navigating the bank through challenging economic periods. His strong leadership and deep understanding of risk management practices earned him a reputation as a trusted and effective executive.
Chromik's experience is expected to be invaluable in helping our website navigate the volatile and fast-changing economic environment. His appointment is seen as a positive development for our risk management capabilities, as we prepare for the challenges that lie ahead.

Chromik will join our website's Management Board on May 1, 2025, and take over full responsibility for the Risk function when Vigneron leaves the bank.
