The much-anticipated facelift of the Mahindra XUV700 is set to launch in early 2026, promising a host of style updates and enhanced features to keep the SUV competitive in the segment.

The facelifted XUV700 will boast a new front fascia, featuring redesigned LED headlights with a dual-pod setup, along with updated LED daytime running lamps. The front grille has been reimagined with slanted vertical slats, giving the SUV a sharper, more modern look. The front and rear bumpers have also been refreshed, while at the rear, updated LED tail-lights and a possible connected full-length LED light bar are expected. A new set of alloy wheels with a refreshed design will round off the exterior changes.

Inside the cabin, the facelifted XUV700 will feature a three-screen setup, borrowed from the Mahindra XEV 9e concept, adding a third screen beyond the current dual-screen layout (instrument cluster + infotainment). Advanced technology such as self-parking (auto park assist) and an updated Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite will be introduced. A digital key system for enhanced convenience, a new Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos for superior audio experience, rear window sun blinds for better comfort, ventilated second-row seats in the six-seater layout, and a panoramic sunroof with ambient lighting, possibly including an infinity roof design, are also expected. The dashboard design will be inspired by the XEV 9e electric vehicle.

Despite rumours suggesting a plug-in hybrid for the XUV700, it's not expected to be part of this update. All-wheel-drive (AWD) configurations are likely to continue in the facelifted XUV700, and transmission options will remain a 6‐speed manual or torque-converter automatic. Substantial increases in price are not expected for the facelifted XUV700.

The facelifted XUV700 has been undergoing testing since June 2025, hinting at a possible debut later this year or in early 2026. There are even rumours that Mahindra might rebrand the XUV700 as "XUV7XO" upon launch.

With these updates, Mahindra aims to keep the XUV700 at the forefront of the SUV segment by adding key luxury and technology enhancements while refreshing its aggressive styling.
