Luxury Performance Wagons Arrive in Spain: 50 BMW M3 CS Models, Priced Nearly at 200,000 Euros

The BMW M3 CS Touring, a limited-edition wagon, has made its debut in Europe, with deliveries commencing in March. This special model, adorned with the CS badge for the first time on a wagon, is priced at €12,648 for the carbon-ceramic brakes alone.

The M3 CS Touring is not a budget-friendly option, with prices easily surpassing the €200,000 mark when fully specced. This makes it more expensive than the standard M5 Touring, which starts at €167,150 in Spain.

Interestingly, the BMW Competition Sport G81, another high-performance model, starts at €196,150, suggesting that a Competition Sport version of the M5 Touring could potentially be even pricier.

Ticking all the boxes for the M3 CS Touring results in a hefty price tag of nearly €222,000. British Racing Green and Laguna Seca Blue paint options will set you back an additional €6,260 each. The car is also equipped with 'ultra-track' tires, which cost €3,194.

The M3 CS Touring is not a standard production model; it is a special, limited edition version. Production is capped at approximately 2,000 units worldwide, with only 50 units reserved for Spain. The CS version is expected to have a 12-month production cycle, after which production is likely to end in early 2026, possibly by February.

Meanwhile, car paparazzi have already spotted the updated M5 sedan undergoing testing, suggesting that an M5 Touring may be on the horizon. If BMW greenlights a Competition Sport version of the M5 Touring, it would likely follow the sedan and further expand the CS lineup.

Markus Flasch, the person responsible for the decision to develop a Competition Sport model of the M5 Touring, is the driving force behind this potential expansion.

The M5 Touring, with its starting price of €167,150, offers a more affordable alternative to the M3 CS Touring for those seeking a high-performance BMW wagon. With the anticipated arrival of the updated M5 wagon, BMW enthusiasts have much to look forward to in the coming months.
