Frank Bauer, currently serving as CFO and Labor Director, will take on the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO), while Gregor Schleussner will assume the roles of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
Frank Bauer's career with Lufthansa began in 2007, with stints at Jade Cargo in China and various leadership positions within the Lufthansa Group. Before returning to Lufthansa Cargo in 2023 as Finance and Personnel Director, he held positions such as internal audit and CEO of Eurowings. Bauer brings extensive corporate experience and solid technical expertise to his new role as COO, where he will oversee the operational processes of Lufthansa Cargo AG.
Gregor Schleussner started his career with Lufthansa in 2006 as part of the ProTeam trainee program. Throughout his tenure, he has held various roles within the company, including product management, investor relations, and corporate controlling. Most recently, Schleussner served as Head of Finance, Controlling, and Accounting at Eurowings before joining Lufthansa Cargo AG. Schleussner is described as technically and economically savvy, with the necessary finesse to tackle the challenges of an international logistics company. He will oversee finance, personnel, legal, corporate policy, information management, and infrastructure at Lufthansa Cargo AG.
