Lizard company unveils new Copenhagen branch, allocates Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer positions
In a strategic move to expand its operations in the Nordic region, asset manager Lazard has appointed Jesper Jensen as the CEO of Denmark and Managing Director, Financial Advisory. The new office, located in Copenhagen, marks Lazard's latest venture in its ongoing expansion.
Jesper Jensen, who assumed his position in 2021, previously worked at Rothschild & Co and JP Morgan in London. He holds an M.Sc. in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School.
In his new role, Jensen will work closely with Gustaf Slettengren and Victor Kastensson, both based in Sweden, within Lazard's Financial Advisory division. This collaboration is expected to bolster the firm's capabilities and better serve clients in the region.
Jean-Louis Girodolle, Co-Head of European Investment banking, expressed his excitement about the appointment, stating, "Jesper brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our team, and we are confident that his leadership will contribute significantly to our growth in the Nordic region."
