Krasnodar Region Aims to Boost Energy Efficiency with New Law Proposals

Krasnodar Region is set to boost its energy efficiency. Acting Minister Vyacheslav Shaposhnik and ZSK Chairman Yuri Burlachko have proposed amendments to the regional energy law, aiming to save energy and reduce costs.

Governor Shaposhnik's initiative seeks to enhance energy saving and efficiency across the region. The proposed changes align the regional law with federal legislation and expand the governor's powers in this area.

Burlachko, highlighting the impact of rising energy prices and external pressure, stressed the importance of energy saving and efficiency. He suggested conducting energy audits and implementing modern technologies in social institutions and administrative buildings to achieve this. The deputies of the ZSK have considered these proposals.

The amendments, if approved, will enable systematic and comprehensive implementation of energy-saving measures. This move is expected to improve energy efficiency and reduce costs in the Krasnodar Region.
