Komsomolsk-on-Amur's Power Boost: Old Substation Gets Modern Upgrade
Energy infrastructure in Komsomolsk-on-Amur is receiving a boost with the reconstruction of an old substation in the 'Start' microdistrict. The project, led by Far Eastern Energy Systems, aims to enhance the reliability of power supply to the City of Youth and its nearby areas.
The substation, designed to handle 11 cells, is being equipped with modern relay protection and automation cabinets. These advanced features will help manage power distribution more efficiently and securely.
Workers are currently laying necessary cables for the substation, ensuring that the new power lines reach remote areas of Khabarovsk Krai. This responsibility typically falls to regional energy companies and the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.
The reconstructed substation, with its improved distribution device and advanced auto parts, is expected to provide a more stable and reliable power supply to Komsomolsk-on-Amur and its surroundings. The project is a testament to the region's commitment to upgrading its energy infrastructure.
