Krasdale Foods Announces Leadership Appointments and Role Expansions

Krasdale Foods, a family-owned grocery distribution, merchandising, and marketing services company based in White Plains, N.Y., has made several key appointments and role expansions.

The company, which serves over 3,500 customers across eight states, has a long-standing commitment to supporting independent retailers operating under such banners as CTown, Bravo, Aim, Market Fresh, Shop Smart Food Markets, and Stop 1 Food Mart. Krasdale's extensive network includes a state-of-the-art distribution center in the Hunts Point neighborhood, in the New York City borough of Bronx, and a satellite office in Miami.

In a recent development, Howie Kent has been named the Director of Business Insights and Retail Technology. Kent, who has played a pivotal role in developing Krasdale's reporting and in-store execution tools over the past decade, will now be responsible for platform integration and analytics strategy.

Natalie Menns, who has spent nearly 20 years at Krasdale and has led major service model transformations, has been appointed as the Director of Customer Experience. Menns will oversee customer service and inside sales, ensuring a seamless experience for Krasdale's valued customers.

Jose Torres, a U.S. Navy veteran and former independent grocery store owner, has been promoted to Director of Sales. Torres brings over 20 years of retail and sales leadership experience to his new role.

Carroll Arroyo has been appointed as the Sales Supervisor - Inside Sales. Arroyo will manage lead follow-up, CRM compliance, and customer outreach, further strengthening Krasdale's customer relations.

Jenn Carson has joined the team as the Director of Marketing for Alpha 1 Marketing, Krasdale's affiliate company. Carson's expertise will contribute significantly to the full-service grocery distribution, merchandising, and marketing solutions provided by Krasdale and its affiliates.

Joey Lebiak has joined the business insights team as a Data Analyst. Lebiak will contribute to enterprise reporting, pipeline visibility, and sales analytics, providing valuable insights to drive Krasdale's strategic decision-making.

Cynthia Ramos, Krasdale's Chief Sales and Customer Officer, noted the appointments reflect exceptional talent and commitment to developing leaders within the company.

Meanwhile, Bravo Supermarkets, a retailer served by Krasdale, has debuted a larger location in Pennsylvania, offering the area's largest selection of international foods. This expansion underscores Krasdale's role in supporting its retail partners in their growth and success.

Krasdale also recently celebrated the grand opening of its largest solar project in the Bronx, which is expected to generate 3.4M kWh of energy a year, furthering the company's commitment to sustainability.
