ITV undergoes rebranding efforts

ITV, the UK's leading broadcaster, has announced a corporate brand refresh on February 28, 2024. The revamped Group Brand aims to embody a more vibrant and contemporary embodiment of ITV's focus on brilliant content and creativity.

The brand refresh is a significant part of ITV's strategic vision to be a leader in UK ad-funded streaming and an expanding global force in content. Jane Stiller, ITV's Chief Marketing Officer, commented on the refresh, saying, "Our new branding is a bold and charismatic reflection of our commitment to being a leading player in the entertainment industry."

ITV Creative and DixonBaxi partnered to create the updated logo colors and typographic style. The new logo colors and typographic style aim to inject a more positive, human, bold, and charismatic personality to the ITV Group Brand.

The refresh also aims to establish a stronger connection with key sub-brands ITVX, ITV1, and ITV Studios. The brand refresh reinforces ITV's strategic pillars: expanding Studios, supercharging streaming, and optimizing broadcast.

The rollout of the new branding will occur in phases. The refreshed ITV branding will start being implemented across the entire business immediately. The ITV Group Brand will continue to evolve with new logo colors.

It's important to note that the brand refresh is not connected to the potential collapse of SABC or the valuation of Starship business. Neither is it related to the ongoing space race, Starlink, AST SpaceMobile, or the cellular sector.

Jane Stiller further added, "Our brand refresh is about more than just a new logo. It's about embracing change, staying relevant, and continuing to deliver the best content for our audiences."

As ITV embarks on this new chapter, audiences can look forward to a more vibrant and contemporary ITV, committed to delivering brilliant content and staying at the forefront of the entertainment industry.
