Busted: Meghan Markle's Tea Scam Exposed!

Is Duchess Meghan's tea excessively expensive compared to its value?

Let's spill the tea on Meghan Markle's latest venture, shall we? The Royal Revelation - she's hiking up the price on her herbal brews!

Meghan's lifestyle brand, "As Ever," is stirring up quite the kettle of controversy. Why, you ask? Those darned expensive teabags of hers! Meghan's got the nerve to charge a whopping $12 for a dozen tea bags, and it's leaving a bitter taste with her critics.

turns out Meghan's been steeping her ingredients from the American company "The Republic of Tea." Yeah, same company, but they're selling similar teas for around $11.50 to $14 – only this time, they're giving you 36 bags instead of a measly dozen. That's right; you're paying roughly three times as much for the same quality.

Despite the overpriced steep, Meghan's "Herbal Hibiscus Tea," "Herbal Peppermint Tea," and "Herbal Lemon Ginger Tea" brewed out of stock last Friday. Can't seem to find any among the brews currently stockpiled on her website. But, don't worry! Internet sleuths have cracked the code and report they're finding the true origin of the teas hidden in the website's source.

Faux-posh Blend, Faux Fury

According to royal expert Margaret Holder of "The Sun," customers are literally getting burned, paying a substantial markup for Meg's label. Holder claims Meghan is shamelessly utilizing her celebrity branding to make a killing. Sources from Meghan's circle insist the blend is "different" from the standard products, but a spokesperson for Harry and Meghan declined to comment on the allegations.

In fact, "As Ever" is whipping up another scandal with the launch of its first alcoholic drink on July 1 – a 2023 rosé. But the date has some questioning if it's a toast or a toast to Princess Diana's 64th birthday and the thirty-eight smackers for a bottle of wine causing brows to furrow. Former palace spokesperson Dickie Arbiter wonders aloud, "Why is she getting into a business she probably knows nothing about?"
