IK Partners Announces Successful Close of €2 Billion Small Cap IV Fund

IK Partners, a leading European private equity firm, has announced the successful close of its IK Small Cap IV Fund (IK SC IV) at its hard cap of €2 billion. This marks a significant milestone for the firm, reflecting strong investor demand and confidence in IK Partners' investment approach.

The IK SC IV fund aims to invest in growing businesses with enterprise values between €80 million and €200 million, focusing on IK Partners' core sectors of Business Services, Healthcare, Consumer, and Industrials. The fund also includes a dedicated €600 million Development Capital pool, targeting smaller companies valued between €20 million and €80 million.

Since launching its Small Cap strategy in 2015, IK Partners has completed 56 transactions across four funds. The firm has realized over €2.1 billion in proceeds from these investments, representing a money multiple of 3.1x on 25 exited investments. The IK SC IV fund is expected to continue this trend, with early indications showing the fund has already made its first investment and plans to continue deploying capital in the stated sectors and size ranges.

The investor base for IK SC IV is global, with 71% of commitments from the EMEA region, 18% from North America, and 11% from Asia. Notably, 80% of the capital raised for the fund was from existing investors, underscoring sustained confidence in IK Partners’ strategy.

In addition to the IK SC IV fund, IK Partners has also closed over €6 billion in commitments in recent years, including the €505 million IK Strategic Opportunities I Fund in April 2024 and the €3.3 billion IK X Fund in April 2025.
