Illegal Employment and Residence at Erding Asian Restaurant: Multiple Instances Uncovered by Main Customs Office Landshut

In a series of inspections, the Main Customs Office Landshut uncovered multiple instances of illegal employment and residence in an Asian restaurant near me in Erding. The first inspection in April 2023 revealed two Asian nationals working without proper permits, followed by further violations in subsequent visits.

In April, the restaurant near me was found to have two workers who had overstayed their 90-day permits, not allowing them to work in Germany. A follow-up inspection in June discovered three more illegal workers. The most recent enforcement in August resulted in the arrest of a homeless man for illegal residence and a €12,000 fine for the restaurant owner for aiding and abetting these offences. The penalty order from the District Court of Erding is now final.

The Main Customs Office Landshut continues to monitor and enforce immigration laws in the region. The Asian restaurant near me in Erding has been found to repeatedly employ workers without the necessary residence permits, leading to arrests and fines.
