Historic Hotel Basement Remains Vacant: Omsk City Hall Unable to Secure a Leaseholder
The historic corner shop at Partizanskaya and Lenin Street in Omsk, a cultural monument built at the beginning of the 20th century and registered as 'Hotel Russia' (1905-1907), remains vacant. The city administration is continuing its search for a tenant to lease the 871.9 sq.m basement premise, which was previously home to the 'Podvalchik' cafe.
Despite multiple attempts to find a tenant, the auction for leasing the premise did not take place on September 11 due to lack of participant applications. The initial rental price for the premise remains at 374,900 rubles per month, with the total rental cost over a five-year lease coming to 22.5 million rubles.
The city administration is urging potential tenants to plan their vacation outside the period when the lease agreement for the premise is being finalized in 2026, to ensure availability for signing. Prospective tenants should be aware that the current premise is vacant and has been so for some time.
The building, with its rich history and cultural significance, is a valuable asset to the city of Omsk. It is hoped that a suitable tenant will be found soon to breathe new life into this historic monument.
In the meantime, the city administration continues its search for a tenant for the basement premise, with the aim of preserving this important piece of Omsk's history for future generations.
